alle wensen van de wereld

Keeping a snail when a pet isn't allowed, floating away with a tree for a brief escape, eating ice cream with grandma, needing to cry, making no mistakes, the taste of the sea… Looking for a Dutch poetry collection for readers aged 9 to 99? In 'Alle wensen van de wereld', Rian Visser writes poems about big and small, wonderful and tough things, hiding away, courage, hope, wisdom, and so much more.

Weird
Yesterday for no reason at all
I suddenly felt deeply content.

I don't know how it happened,
but wished it would start all over again.

Janneke Ipenburg accompanies the words with luminous, poetic illustrations.

'Alle wensen van de wereld' won a 2022 Zilveren Griffel award in the poetry category.
