terra ultima

'Terra Ultima: De ontdekking van een onbekend continent' by Raoul Deleo is an impressive children's book filled with incredibly beautiful illustrations.

The globe seemed crossed in every direction and mapped in minute detail. Yet something remained overlooked, something that escaped the atlases.
An entire continent, no less: Terra Ultima.

And what a continent: it is colossal and completely unique.
Nature took its course here without human intervention.

Explorer Raoul Deleo found Terra Ultima after years of searching. With colorful, detailed drawings, he reports on his expeditions and the wondrous animals, plants, and landscapes he encountered there.

Terra Ultima already caused excitement in the scientific world. Now everyone can get to know this unknown continent. Especially for this book, fellow explorer and biologist Noah J. Stern gained access to Deleo's archive. He put together a representative selection of illustrations and notes so everyone can picture this fascinating new continent. Open the book and discover the wonders of Terra Ultima.
