uitgeverij van goor

In 1839, Gerrit Benjamin van Goor founded a publishing house in Buren that proudly bears his name to this day. The publishing house, which today specializes in children's and young adult literature, is one of the oldest publishers in the Netherlands. In the early years, the Van Goor publishing house had the most success with publications aimed at the educational market, such as dictionaries and textbooks. However, young adult literature soon became an important part of the collection as well.

Since the 1970s, Van Goor has been part of Het Spectrum as an imprint. From enchanting picture books to adventurous reading books, Van Goor continues to enchant young readers with books that connect generations.
