wij willen een pannenkoek!

Written by Tiny Fisscher and illustrated by Sophie Pluim, the comical picture book 'Wij willen een pannenkoek' tells a story about daring to go your own way and persevering until you reach your goal.

Seven children are always hungry. When their father asks one day who wants a pancake, the kids shout at the top of their lungs: 'Me!' While flipping the pancake, it rolls right out the door! It keeps on rolling and meets a whole string of animals. They would all love a taste, yet the pancake keeps calling out: 'Catch me if you can!' The pancake outruns everyone. Who will finally catch it?

The recipe for this book mixes a cumulative tale, fresh humor, a touch of nostalgia, a wonderful autumn world full of little surprises, and one big fat pancake! Sophie Pluim's colorful, sweet, witty, and playful illustrations match the mood of the text to a tee.
