uitgeverij querido wat een geluk!

The children's book 'Wat een Geluk!' by Toon Tellegen brims with stories about animals searching for happiness.

The elephant feels true joy because the squirrel stays kind when he accidentally steps on his toes again and again while dancing. The turtle has doubts, feeling very happy one moment and deeply unhappy the next. Meanwhile, in the grasshopper's shop, the cockchafer shyly asks if he sells happiness too.

‘The grasshopper stepped out from behind the counter toward the cockchafer, placed an arm on his shoulder, and very gently began a dance step. Their cheeks touched. They said nothing and danced through the shop, past the counter, past the windows, and out through the open door.’ What pure happiness! Join the animals on their search for joy in this heartwarming book.
