uitgeverij lemniscaat kom uit die kraan!

Children are not allowed on the construction site, and Bart knows that very well. One day, he crawls under the fence anyway and drives the steamroller, the cement mixer, and the crane. He pours concrete onto the street. A total mess! Read along to find out why he does it.

'Kom uit die kraan!!' by uitgeverij Lemniscaat is a hilarious, large picture book about a little boy on a grand boyhood adventure.

"But look, look around you, reader. The main character did that too. We see it in the illustrations (gorgeous painted spreads by Alice Hoogstad). They tell yet another story in this fantastic picture book, where everything is different than it seems at first glance. Tjibbe Veldkamp and Alice Hoogstad play a clever game of saying, showing, and leaving things unsaid in this exciting and funny story. Even when you know the surprise of the story, you are far from done reading. On the contrary: 'Kom uit die kraan!' is ideal for flipping back to read and look all over again. You discover new things every single time." So says the jury report.

In 2016, this book won the Zilveren Griffel award. Open the book, look closely at the painted spreads, and discover the whole story.
