The Highwaykick 1 from the Austrian brand Scoot and Ride is a 2-in-1 balance bike and scooter. You can transform the balance bike into a scooter and back again in no time, completely without tools.

During the first years, little ones ride it as a balance bike. As motor skills improve, the balance bike transforms into a scooter in a flash. Simply pull the lever, flip the seat, and adjust the handlebar.

Children steer the scooter by shifting their weight from left to right. This helps the scooter maneuver through turns safely and with great stability, while developing a strong sense of balance.

The scooter features two large front wheels and a rear wheel with a foot brake for extra safety. Between the front wheels sits the patented Safety Pad, a rollover guard that prevents the scooter from tipping forward.
