papa ruimt het op

Helping out feels like a big deal, even when things go a bit differently than planned. In the picture book ‘Papa ruimt het op’ by Angel Dike, an ordinary day takes a playful turn. Does your little one also love to lend a hand with everything you do?

In the picture book 'Papa ruimt het op', a cheerful child eagerly pitches in with all of dad's tasks. All that well-meaning 'helping' actually leaves dad with much more cleaning up to do! Luckily, a warm bubble bath and a fun bedtime story wait at the end of such a long day.

This picture book by debut picture book author Angel Dike shines in its simplicity and hits home for all parents with young children. Written from the child's perspective, it uses simple wording and plenty of repetition. Ebony Glenn's sweet illustrations capture the warm father-toddler bond beautifully.
