mushie elastic shape sorter

Feel, push, and discover with the shape sorter ‘Elastic Shape Sorter’ by the American brand Mushie. This sensory baby toy lets curious hands playfully explore shapes and push them through the elastic bands.

The open cube holds 6 nature-inspired shapes, including a leaf, a sun, and a rainbow. Will the rainbow go in first, or the leaf? Children push the shapes in through the soft elastic bands and pull them right back out. It takes a little strength, a little patience, and above all, plenty of curiosity. The stretchy bands give way and make every movement visible.

As they play, children practice their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Searching for the right opening and pushing the shapes through also builds early shape recognition and problem-solving skills.
