janod activity board farm - locks and latches

A surprise awaits behind every door on the wooden farm activity board from the French brand Janod. This sturdy activity toy packed with locks and latches lets children playfully discover who is hiding on the farm.

5 doors each close with a different mechanism: a hook, bolt, chain, turn latch, and classic lock. Little hands twist, slide, and click away! Who is hiding behind the next door? A group of baby animals shelters behind each one, and the number on the door gives away how many little ones are tucked inside. This gives counting real meaning and makes every new discovery a joy.

This educational toy boosts fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Opening and closing the different locks takes concentration and logical thinking. Meanwhile, children learn to recognize animals and practice numbers up to 5.

The flat board rests comfortably on the table or the floor, and making up stories about the animals together makes playtime even richer.
