haba sorting game - forest animals

Play with colors and forest animals at the same time. The 'Zuordnungsspiel Waldtiere' sorting game from the German brand HABA lets young children discover, count, match, and compare.

The sturdy boards feature familiar forest animals like an owl, a squirrel, a wild boar, and a bee. Each board has cutouts where the colored discs fit right in. By looking closely at the colors and numbers, children find the right spot on their own. Step by step, a complete picture appears.

As they play, children practice color recognition and build their fine motor skills. Searching and matching also helps with early counting, since each animal takes a different number of discs. Hands and eyes work together as every round piece lands in its proper place.

The thick cardboard boards and wooden discs feel solid and can take a bump. A wonderful first game for little ones to explore independently and try again and again.
