eekhoorn verzamelt moed

The tastiest nuts lie by the big hollow tree. Squirrel just doesn't dare go near it. He asks the other forest animals for a little courage, only they are all busy. How will he build up his winter supply now?

Autumn has arrived in the forest, and Squirrel really needs to go look for food. There is just one catch: he doesn't dare approach the big hollow tree where the tastiest nuts lie. He decides to gather courage by asking all the animals to spare a little of theirs. Yet the animals are all busy with other things, leaving Squirrel to figure out how to gather his nut supply.

Following the success of "Haasje zoekt een ei", Maartje Kouwen and Evy Van Guyse have teamed up once again for an endearing seasonal picture book. Explore autumn together with Squirrel to discover which animals live in the forest and how they behave during this specific season. You'll find out what rutting is and which animals head off to warmer places. Before you know it, you and Squirrel will learn one more lesson: how to be brave, even when you feel scared.
