djeco craft set weaving - animal sweaters

The ‘First Weaving Animal Sweaters’ weaving craft set from the French brand Djeco offers a cheerful first introduction to weaving. 4 animals wait for a warm sweater, while kids quickly make their first stitches using thick woolen yarn and large needles.

The large holes in the animal figures and the soft plastic needles make this activity great for little hands. Which animal gets its warm sweater first? Kids thread the wool back and forth, dress the animals, and try the stitches out again and again. This gives the craft activity a playful touch, giving each animal its own outfit bit by bit.

While weaving, children practice their fine motor skills, coordination, and concentration. The clear steps and repeatable actions provide structure and confidence.
