The 'Little Family' card game for toddlers and preschoolers comes from the French brand Djeco. Who will collect the most pairs? It offers a wonderful first introduction to card and observation games.
Game rules:
After shuffling the cards, each player receives 4 cards and places them face up on the table in front of them so everyone can see them. The remaining cards form the deck. On their turn, a player draws a card and places it in front of them. Then the player checks if the same card is lying elsewhere on the table to form a pair. The player may do this with their own cards, or with a card belonging to the other players. The game ends when all pairs are formed. Whoever finds the most pairs wins the game.
Players: 2 - 4.
Playing time: 5 min.
