atta

Follow the brave and headstrong Atta in the children's book 'Atta', written by Jolien Janzing.

Jolien Janzing made a name for herself with her historical novels for adults. Now she steps into children's literature with flair!

Atta is a headstrong Mixed-girl. She has had enough of gathering berries with the women and children. She wants to go hunting! So she sneaks after the men and boys..., when her adventure takes an unexpected turn and she comes face to face with a furious mammoth.

On the run, Atta loses her way and ends up with a Neanderthal tribe. The woman who leads the tribe gives her a warm welcome. A little too warm, in fact… it almost seems as if she never wants to let her go.

Looking for an exciting and humorous adventure? Atta is a child, strong, impulsive, and curious about the world, who will capture your heart right away. Her story was a natural fit for Linde Faas, resulting in an instant classic in children's literature.
