999 games catan base game

The board game 'Catan Base Game' from the Dutch brand 999 Games takes players to the island of Catan, where resources, smart trading, and strategic choices hold the key to victory. Build settlements, lay down roads, and expand cities as the island slowly fills up with new pioneers.

Every turn revolves around planning, negotiating, and seizing opportunities. Trade lumber, wool, or grain with other players, collect valuable resources, and try to be the first to reach 10 victory points. Meanwhile, the excitement builds around the table, because the race for the longest trade route and the largest army stays thrilling right until the end.

The game combines tactical thinking with fun interaction and brings new surprises every round thanks to the ever-changing game board. Through play, kids and adults alike practice planning, negotiating, and thinking ahead. Gather three or four players around the table and let the trading begin.

Play the game with 3 to 4 players; a game takes about 75 minutes.
