Kinetic sand

At its core, kinetic sand is simply ultra-fine sand. Yet it differs in big ways from the play sand in an outdoor sandbox. Kinetic sand only sticks to itself and feels wonderfully soft. This clinging sand almost seems to come alive when you stir it or let it fall. Knead it, slice it, press it into molds and build castles, or simply let it glide through your fingers. There is a good reason people call kinetic sand magic sand!

Kinetic Sand

Even when thunder and rain keep everyone indoors, your little one can still play with sand. Kinetic Sand is ideal indoor play sand that leaves no mess behind, thanks to an added binding agent. Young and old alike can enjoy this toy for hours on end. Clay, sand, plaster and stone are wonderful materials for children to explore. Just like Kinetic Sand, they stimulate the senses, motor skills and creativity.

Kinetic sand tray

An airtight container is the best place to store kinetic sand, keeping it from drying out. Does the sand feel a bit dry after lots of play? Just mix in a few drops of water. The Swedish brand Waba Fun developed Kinetic Sand with the philosophy that children should be able to let their imagination run free. A special kinetic sand tray gives them all the space they need to do just that!

What is kinetic sand?

Kinetic sand consists mostly of clean, regular sand. A tiny bit of binding agent makes the grains stick together, with the unique property that it doesn't stick to other surfaces. Firm enough to hold its shape, the sand still has a wonderfully soft, airy texture.

Playing with kinetic sand comes with zero rules. Build whatever comes to mind or simply treat your sense of touch. Every scoop and squeeze sparks creativity. At ilovespeelgoed.nl, that always makes us happy, as you can tell from our wide range of creative toys.
