What age is the Timio player for?

A great advantage of the Timio player is that it grows with your little one from toddler to kindergartner. Children aged 2 to 6 can enjoy a wide range of stories, fairy tales, songs, and educational content specially selected for their age group. Whether learning the basics of language, discovering music and sounds, or exploring interactive games, these kids' toys offer plenty of possibilities that match children's needs and interests as they grow.

How does a Timio player work?

Thanks to the simple controls, children can use the Timio player independently once parents set it up. The device has four buttons. The top button selects one of the eight languages. Pressing the left or right button adjusts the volume. The bottom button activates the quiz mode. Once a disc is in place, the player asks a question and your child can press the right answer.

Children simply pick one of the included discs and place it on the Timio player. Because the discs are magnetic, placing them is easy, so kids can start playing and learning right away. You don't need any installation or internet connection. Once the disc sits on the player, the lights turn on. Press an image and a sound, song, or story plays right away.

Educational screen-free play with Timio

Timio's educational content is carefully put together to stimulate language skills, imagination, memory, and general knowledge. The activities on the Timio discs match the different developmental stages of young children and support their cognitive skills, for example. These skills help children absorb and process knowledge. Language skills in particular will develop quickly. Kids pick an icon and the Timio player tells them what they see! Images turn into words, teaching children how to make connections.

It is also important that children learn to listen rather than just look at a screen. Listening to the audio boosts their listening skills. Without moving images, kids give their full attention to what they hear and process the information better. This toy also helps children relax: listening to music or a story is a wonderful way to reduce stress and unwind.
