stockmar

Stockmar's creative products stand out with their eye-pleasing colors and the scent of wax that appeals to the sense of smell. The colors are based on Goethe's color theory; all the colors of the rainbow, starting from the three primary colors red, blue, and yellow.

The Stockmar products are developed by an experienced team and crafted by hand.

One hundred years ago, the Stockmar family started a beeswax candle company. Founded in 1922, Stockmar quickly expanded with beeswax products for the creative education of the Waldorf schools in Germany. Thus, the beeswax company began producing kneading wax for modeling in art classes. In the 1950s, the -now classic- wax crayon blocks were added for coloring large areas and drawing fine lines.

The name Stockmar stands for high-quality, creative products. A careful selection of high-quality raw materials takes place, with the bee as the biggest supplier.Stockmar supports beekeeping in various ways, because the bee is extraordinarily sensitive and indispensable for our ecosystem. That is why their motto is: as much as necessary, as little as possible.

The quality of Stockmar products exceeds legal safety requirements. They are safe for the health of people, animals, and the environment, and are biodegradable.

Stockmar is a company that has always maintained a strong connection with nature. As a business, Stockmar is not focused on profit and growth. Not only does the company put people at the center of its products and production, but also in its business operations. The profits are used for social and societal purposes such as organic farming and for sustainable education.

The Stockmar product line has developed further. There are wax crayons and blocks, colored pencils. The modeling beeswax, initially hard, but softening in the hands and can be modeled into all kinds of shapes. And there is the thin, colorful beeswax foil, likewise softening in hands and wonderful as embellishments in creative artistic expressions and for decoration. Watercolor paints, also based on Goethe's color theory, with radiant colors and translucency.
